Reimagining Melbourne

Cities 05 September 2014 | 12.31pm

This month Arup will invite Melbourne’s creative population to reimagine their city. This will be the fourth time Melbourne has hosted a Penguin Pool with past events centred on themes such as digital media and pop-up shops. This time guests will be encouraged to consider the issues a city like Melbourne faces and what innovative solutions could be adopted to ensure it remains the most livable city in the world.

The Penguin Pool is Arup’s creative events series that has been held all over the world and is designed to inform, inspire and entertain. The events aim to encourage new connections and seed future collaborations across the design community.

So please join us for an evening filled with artists, food, drink and inspirational installations from leading Melbourne artists including:

Keith Deverell

Ryan Foote in collaboration with the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre

Stu Morley

Bin Dixon-Ward

Julie Shiels

Joni Foster
